Demystifying Etching - An opportunity to make an etching. An introduction to the many possibilities via examples of prints that have been created in the studio. All materials provided. £150 per person. further details to follow.

Hard Ground or Soft Ground - An opportunity to try both methods of etching on copper plates. Which one will suit your ideas and motifs? Supported with examples of both processes via samples of prints that have been created in the studio. All materials provided. £150 per person. further details to follow.

Aquatint and More! - An opportunity to use aquatint, a method of create an etching with tone, to either add to a previously drawn plate or as a basis for other processes such as sugar lift or spit bite .Supported with examples of both processes via samples of prints that have been created in the studio. £150 per person. further details to follow. Re-Located to Woolwich
After two happy years in Peckham Simon Lawson Prints Studio has re-located a few miles further east to the banks of the Thames, within a stones throw of the Thames Barrier. We are now part of the Thames-Side Studios community. With improved facilities and fabulous views of the river just outside the door we look forward to continued success in our new surroundings.

Editioning Service
We can print etchings from your plate. We know that printing one or two can be fun but printing an edition can be really difficult, time consuming and often frustrating. With years of experience and knowledge we can suggest the best ink and paper, even help you with the size of print and the size of your edition.

From a BAT (Good to Pull), printed to your specifications, to a completed edition with a beautifully hand torn deckled edge. We aim to produce the very best image from your plate, exquisitly printed to your requirements.

Print Publishing Programme
We are delighted to announce the launch of a new publishing programme.
Artists are invited to produce an edition of prints to support the printmaking studio and the artists themselves.
The prints celebrate the collaboration between artist and printmaker, providing the opportunity to develop their ideas and motifs through print.
Historically the results often develop into a lifelong dialogue between printmaking and the artist's regular practice.
